If you lose a pet the first thing you should do is take a photo of it to your local police station and leave it with them along with your contact details. We also advise you to return there every couple of days. Visit all the dog pounds in case it has been taken there, also, contact all the animal rescue and welfare groups in the area. We will advertise lost pets on this site to try to help you locate them. Please send an email to k9club@lamarina.info along with good quality photos if possible and your contact details.

brindle greyhound lost-r.jpg

Mizzy is a brindle Spanish Greyhound and is two years old. She managed to open the garden gate and escaped, along with my other dog, a Pointer. The pointer returned but Mizzy remains missing.  I live in Los Altos de San Andres, Urb. Montemar, opposite La Finca Golf in Algorfa.  Mizzy is micro-chipped.   She is a gentle but excitable dog and had been in SATS kennels from a small puppy until I took her last June.  She is much loved and missed by me and her companion dog Ellie. If you can help to find her please telephone 965701790 or mobile 618721889. email: lyndawalker2004@yahoo.co.uk

coco-lost-r.jpg

Two dogs have gone missing from the La Matanza area (close to Orihuela city). Both dogs are chipped and have had all their shots. They were last seen on January 4, 2008. Gipsy is a female german shepherd, about 30kg, wearing a brown leather collar. Coco is a totally black, male Belgian Shepherd, about 20 kg, wearing a grey nylon collar (he does manage to wiggle out of it occasionally, so it could have slipped off). We have just returned from vacation, and were only made aware of the situation the day before we returned as our friends did not wish to ruin our vacation. Any information or advice you may have would be greatly appreciated, as we miss them very much and are desperate to find them. Please phone: 630 029 104, or 686 927 233 or email: iaboels@yahoo.com
