Sometimes a dog or cat must be rescued immediately to remove it from a life threatening situation, like the one shown here. We then must take it to a temporary home with someone that is prepared to foster a dog or cat for a short period. These volunteer fosterers are very important as they provide a lost or abandoned pet a safe environment whilst we search for the owner or advertise it for a permanent home if necessary. If all our foster homes and private kennels are fully occupied and no foster home is available - we cannot recover it.

More and more dogs and cats are being abandoned, we need more temporary fosterer homes. You can foster an animal for a short period. It can be for a few days to a few weeks. By doing this you help us to save a life!
