Sometimes we need to rescue a dog or a cat immediately to remove it from a life threatening situation. The first thing we do is take the animal into the veterinary clinic for examination and blood tests. Once they have received the necessary treatment we must then search for a temporary home with someone that is prepared to foster a dog or cat for a short period. These people are very important; they provide us with the opportunity to place a traumatised animal in a safe environment whilst we advertise for a permanent home. If we have nowhere available to place an abandoned animal we have no other option but to turn down a plea for help.

More and more animals are being abandoned and we need your help now. Please remember that you can foster an animal for a short period only. It can be for a few days to a few weeks. By doing this you save a life!.
